Georgia is known for peaches and gorgeous weather, but the food festivals in Georgia are fun from Spring to Summer.

Atlanta Ice Cream Festival – Well, I had to start with one of the festivals that is near and dear to Paul’s heart. Ice Cream is the one food that he could live on day in and day out. What better way to spend seven hours in July at a festival than to sample all the different varieties of ice cream? They even have live fitness activities to help you feel good about eating ice cream all afternoon.

Georgia Peach Festival – This is a great festival, held at the end of May, that gives you a great look into the peach-growing industry. The peach is the most iconic fruit from Georgia, so come and enjoy all the different varieties and ways to use peaches in your cooking adventures. Events include a peach-themed parade, peach cooking contests, live entertainment, and, of course, plenty of opportunities to sample delicious Georgia peaches and peach-inspired dishes.
